Insectra uses AI-assisted image analysis to provide a likely identification of an insect, arachnid, or other visible terrestrial arthropod, together with confidence information, safety observations, bite or sting guidance, behavior, habitat, and general natural-history information.
Results may vary depending on photo quality, lighting, focus, angle, visible features, life stage, regional variation, similar-looking species, network availability, and the availability of third-party analysis services. Identifications, confidence values, risk scores, venom or poison information, bite or sting guidance, and handling recommendations may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.
Insectra is not a laboratory, medical, veterinary, poison-control, toxicology, emergency, wildlife-removal, or professional pest-control service. Never touch, handle, eat, relocate, or make an urgent safety decision about an unknown animal based only on the App. For a suspected bite, sting, poisoning, allergic reaction, urgent symptom, or potentially dangerous species, contact an appropriate qualified professional or local emergency service immediately.

Insectra may offer weekly and annual automatically renewing subscriptions. An active Insectra PRO subscription unlocks the Premium features shown in the App, including unlimited insect identifications, subject to network availability and access to the configured analysis services.
