These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bug Identifier AI: Insectra mobile application (“Insectra,” the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Insectra, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of Insectra is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”):

1. Insectra Service

Insectra provides AI-assisted tools designed to analyze photos and offer possible matches for insects, arachnids, and other visible terrestrial arthropods.

Depending on the App version and your subscription status, Insectra may provide:

• AI-assisted insect and arthropod photo analysis
• Possible common and scientific names
• Possible order and family classifications
• Visual characteristics and similar-looking species
• General information about behavior, habitat, diet, activity, geographic range, and ecological role
• General, unverified information about possible bites, stings, venom, human concerns, pet concerns, and household-pest status
• General guidance encouraging users to avoid contact and seek qualified assistance when appropriate
• The ability to save photos, analysis results, and observation history to a local Collection
• An introductory free analysis where available
• Premium access through weekly or annual auto-renewable subscriptions

Features, analysis limits, AI models, service providers, content, and availability may change, improve, or be removed in future versions.

2. Important AI and Identification Notice

Every identification, species name, confidence value, risk label, venom or poison statement, bite or sting description, pet-related statement, range, behavior description, and handling note provided by Insectra is an automated and unverified estimate.
